Queening perfume sample/test/decant is a unisex amber-woody fragrance from Mind Games, launched in 2023. Created by perfumer Christelle Laprade, the scent is inspired by the chess move “queening” – the moment a pawn transforms into a queen – expressing strength, progress and renewal.
Fragrance notes:
- Top: Clean cotton accord, Cypress, Apple
- Heart: Orris, Rum, Saffron
- Base: Whipped vanilla bean, Musk, Coconut
Queening opens with a clean, airy softness of cotton accord, lifted by green cypress and crisp apple. At the heart, the fragrance becomes creamier and more refined, as orris meets warm rum and saffron in a smooth, slightly powdery and gently boozy balance. On skin, it settles into an enveloping base of whipped vanilla bean, soft musk and coconut, leaving a comforting, sensual and polished trail.
