Tales from Zanzibar perfume sample/test/decant is a unisex Extrait de Parfum from Memoirs of a Perfume Collector, launched in 2021. Created by perfumer Harry Sherwood, the fragrance is inspired by Zanzibar’s dazzling beauty, capturing tropical sunsets, white sand beaches and warm, turquoise waters.
Fragrance notes:
- Top: Lime, Red mandarin, Pink pepper, Mint
- Heart: Guava, Blackcurrant (cassis), Coconut
- Base: Candied fruits, Musk, Ambergris, Transparent oud, Moss
Tales from Zanzibar opens with a bright, sparkling blend of lime and red mandarin, cooled by mint and accented with a touch of pink pepper. The heart reveals a juicy tropical accord of guava and blackcurrant, softened by creamy coconut. In the base, candied fruits, warm musk and ambergris are layered with moss and a sheer veil of oud, adding depth and a refined warmth.
