Loumari Porthole Sample

Porthole perfume sample/test/decant is a unisex fragrance from Loumari, launched in 2022. Created by perfumer Camille Chemardin, the scent is inspired by the sensation of being submerged in a crystal-clear, deep blue sea, where salt water surrounds the body and the senses are renewed at the surface.

Fragrance notes:

• Top: Pineapple, Bergamot essence, Iodine / Salt
• Heart: Passion fruit, Ginger, White floral essence
• Base: Caramel, White musk, Modern woods

Porthole opens with a juicy and vibrant blend of bergamot and passion fruit, accented by a subtle spicy touch of ginger. The fruit notes feel clean and transparent, with pineapple adding freshness without tipping into over-ripeness. Through the heart, fruit remains dominant as salty and musky nuances emerge, gently softened by floral hints. In the base, the fruits linger while modern woods and caramel introduce a smooth, gourmand finish.

The fragrance feels sunny, exotic and unmistakably marine, capturing salty sea air without any seaweed or fishy facets. Porthole delivers impressive longevity and solid projection, working just as well as a tropical escape in cooler months as it does in peak summer.
