Bal d’Afrique Absolu perfume sample/test/decant is a unisex floral-woody musk fragrance from Byredo, launched in 2025. Created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette, it is a richer, more gourmand and intensified interpretation of the house’s iconic original.
Fragrance notes:
- Top: Blackcurrant, Bergamot, Lemon
- Heart: Praline, Musk, Violet
- Base: Black amber, Cedarwood, Vetiver
Bal d’Afrique Absolu opens with radiant citrus and juicy blackcurrant, before melting into a soft, addictive heart of praline, musk and violet. On skin, it settles into a darker, woody warmth of black amber, cedarwood and earthy vetiver, delivering greater intensity and gourmand depth than the original while preserving its signature freshness.
